After a quick glance at the basics of the Sagittarius man and the Capricorn woman, one is compelled to believe these two signs have absolutely no chance at working in a relationship at all. The Sagittarius man loves to travel and is a free spirit that takes on what life gives them on a moment by moment basis. As a total contrast, the Capricorn woman is a planner that loves the security of having control over their life and every outcome possible. Yet, the crazy thing called love often strikes in the most unlikely of places and has worked with these two before and may work again with you. There commonality of intellectual pursuits and high culture are the anchor that makes this potential love connection a real possibility. But like every relationship, there has to be some give and take or it is destine for failure.

Upside

For the Sagittarius man, this could be a great relationship. The fact that he is often engulfed in his creative pursuits, losing tracks of time, and growing as a person is outstanding. But this sometimes is an achilles heel in his future as he often times misses appointments and does not follow through on certain things. But having that Capricorn woman around is perfect because she has her schedules, dates, and times all in order and vows to keep him on top of his life and pursuits. It seems like a great arrangement for both parties because he needs it and she loves to do it.

Besides the mutually beneficial personality traits, these two have a strong love for intellectual pursuits and culture. These two loves create a wonderful atmosphere for their relationship centered around do, loving, and growing together. What seemed like an unlikely couple, can blossom into an inseparable duo that can stand the test of time. This does not workout for every Sagittarius man and Capricorn woman, but the ones that do make it happen are happy, loving, and moving forward with much confidence that they have found love in one of the most unlikeliest places.

Downside

Of all the zodiac signs, these two might be the one that is most destine for failure. If you are in a relationship with a Sagittarius man, then I am sorry to be the one to break the news to you, but I have to be honest and keep it real as they say. Capricorn women and Sagittarius men are like oil and water, they simply don’t mix. I know I painted a possibility of the relationship working above, but the reality is typically something different.

Think about it. The Sagittarius man is a loose cannon that enjoys his space, individual time, and creative pursuits. While the Capricorn woman loves to have structure, control, and time with her man. This is not a great recipe for a relationship. One partners wants space and the other partner wants togetherness time, most of the time.

Eventually, this relationship comes to a point where the Capricorn woman is alienated from the live of the Sagittarius man because he needs that space to be creative, time to think, even time to miss his woman, but cannot get it cause she wants to be there for him all the time. He feels smothered and she feels as though she is the only one fighting for the relationship. It is wild because the Sagittarius man feels as though he should not have to fight for his relationship, it should come natural. Maybe they are just better off being friends.

Dating Activities

If these two make it past their differences, then obviously the relationship has survived because they have settled on common ground and both parties are mature enough to put the needs of the partner ahead of themselves.  This is great news because there are a variety of activities that they will love to do together. Obviously dinning and the movies work, but consider taking trips to the museum, plays, theatre, and poetry sessions. Both of these signs have a high appreciation for culture and intellectual pursuits, therefore, activities centered around them will make both parties happy. If they would take a trip to a far away place to satisfy these desires, then I know the Sagittarius man will be more than happy because he can indulge his need for travel. Allow the Capricorn woman to plan the trip and both parties win.
